Passport — Your passport must be valid upon arrival. Best practice: ensure it’s valid for at least 6 months beyond your date of entry.
- Visa / Authorization — For Shenguen, USA, UK, canada, Australia, Mexico and all latin countries : no visa required for tourism or business stays up to 90–180 days (Exceptions are ; Cuba, Venezuela, Haiti and all the african countries ).
- Yellow-Fever Vaccination — Is not requiered unless you plan to take a tour to Copan and you have visited any country of south America or Panama
- No COVID-19 Vaccine or Test Required (as of 2025) — The country reportedly lifted COVID-related entry restrictions on 2022
📄 What you should prepare / plan
- A valid passport with sufficient validity.
- Proof of yellow-fever vaccination, if applicable (depending on your travel route before El Salvador).
- Proof of onward/return travel, sometimes border agents may ask.
- Accommodation info, proof of funds, contact info — common best-practice for tourists.
- Optionally, consider travel insurance, especially if exploring remote areas.
