After picking you up from your accommodation in San Salvador we will leave the city behind and head to the Ruta de las Flores (Flowers Route). On the west of El Salvador and a popular destination among Salvadorians. During the trip we will travel along the picturesque road, passing through colorful villages surrounded by nature. Our first stop on the Flowers Route will be Izalco, this town was founded by Spaniards and it is In the only town that has 2 city mayors, one elected by-elections and the other by the group of native people. Then we hit the road again, this time to Nahuizalco, where we will spend an hour. You will have the opportunity to meet some of the few people who still speak the indigenous Nawat language. We will also discover the historic weaving and hat-making traditions that are still practiced today. You will visit El Carmen state where you will learn about the coffee process and taste a fresh cup of the famous drink. Ending at Ataco, where you will have free time to lunch ( on your own ). Free time to explore the town.
