Day 1 – Arrival in El Salvador fro Love and adventure
Arrival at El Salvador International Airport and private transfer to 3-Piedras, a boutique hotel overlooking Lake Ilopango and the capital. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and relax in your private pool while taking in the beautiful views.
Day 2 – San Salvador City Tour & Cerro Verde
At 10:00 a.m., continue to San Salvador for a panoramic city tour of the capital. Visit the historic city center, the National Palace, Rosario Church, and the impressive new National Library. Enjoy free time for lunch before continuing to Cerro Verde National Park. Overnight at a hotel in Cerro Verde, located in front of the spectacular Izalco Volcano.
Day 3 – Free Day at Cerro Verde
Enjoy a day at leisure surrounded by nature and volcanoes. You may choose to hike Santa Ana Volcano, the highest volcano in El Salvador, or enjoy a relaxing walk through the beautiful cloud forest of Cerro Verde.
Day 4 – Ruta de las Flores & Thermal Springs
After breakfast, continue to the famous Ruta de las Flores, one of El Salvador’s most scenic routes. Visit Albania Eco Park and enjoy a traditional Salvadoran pupusa cooking class. Continue to a coffee processing center to learn about the coffee production process and taste locally produced coffee. In the afternoon, continue to La Montaña Thermal Springs. Overnight at La Montaña.
Day 5 – Tazumal, Santa Ana & Coffee Experience
After breakfast, visit the impressive Tazumal Maya archaeological site. Continue to the sacred Lake Coatepeque and then visit the city of Santa Ana, including its charming streets and local handicraft shops. Stop for a coffee tasting at Pirómano Café, recognized among El Salvador’s outstanding specialty coffee producers. Continue to San Salvador for your final night in the country. Overnight at Nico Hotel.
Day 6 – Departure
After breakfast, private transfer to El Salvador International Airport for your departure flight.
