Tamanique hiking : Piedra herrada and waterfalls

Overview

Departure 7:30am. 65 kms to the south we arrive at the town of Tamanique, we will walk along rural trails, crossing farms, bridges, the forest along sidewalks (open field), on the route you will find waterfalls and pools very good shots for Instagram, after an ascent in the middle of the forest we will arrive at the Herrada Stone, where you will hear the legend. Return to town approx to Tamanique town will be 1pm. Distance is 5 km per section (total 10 km), there is descent and ascent in paths, for people who are used to walking, it does require a medium lever of effort, especially on hills. Please take note this is not a panoramic walk with explanations, it is more to enjoy contact with nature and walk among natural forests and valleys. be aware that there will be gravel, exposed Roths, sand, on the path.
