Itinerary

Day 1 6:30 AM — Departure from San Salvador by first-class air-conditioned bus heading to Guatemala City. On arrival, transfer on your own to the domestic terminal (approx. 10 minutes by car). Mid-afternoon flight to Flores. Accommodation at Hotel Petén (or similar) with breakfast.

Day 2 Breakfast included. 8:00 AM — Your guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Tikal Ruins. This park covers 576 square kilometers and offers an incredible combination of monumental buildings surrounded by abundant vegetation and wildlife — it’s common to see toucans, ocelots, spider monkeys, and howler monkeys, among others. Structures such as Temple IV, the largest pre-Hispanic building in the Americas (69 meters / 230 feet high), can be climbed. Transfer, guide, and admission are included. Lunch is served within the park (drinks not included). Return to your hotel in Flores.

Day 3 Breakfast. Transfer on your own to the airport for a mid-morning flight to Guatemala City. Transfer on your own to the bus terminal (located at Hotel Las Americas) for the return trip to San Salvador.
