2-Day Tour: Alegría, San Vicente & Apastepeque
Departure from San Salvador
🗓️ Day 1 – Tradition, Nature & Adventure
Depart from San Salvador heading east. On the way, we stop in San Vicente to visit a traditional candy factory that has been operating for more than 100 years, preserving authentic fruit flavors. Enjoy a hands-on experience making typical Salvadoran sweets.
We then continue to the mountain town of Alegría. You will have free time for lunch in town before visiting the Alegría extinct volcano and its beautiful Lagoon of Alegría, famous for its emerald-colored waters and unique natural setting.
In the afternoon, we head to a private adventure park, where you can relax, enjoy the scenery, and watch a stunning sunset over the mountains. Here you will also taste their famous specialty coffee.

🗓️ Day 2 – Alegría & Apastepeque Lagoon
Enjoy a free morning to explore the charming town of Alegría on your own—its gardens, viewpoints, and peaceful atmosphere.
Around midday, we continue to the Apastepeque Lagoon, a perfect spot to unwind by the water. You will have free time for lunch at local lakeside restaurants.
After this relaxing visit, we return to San Salvador, arriving around 4:00 p.m.
